For thousands of years, flower gardens have brought joy, beauty, and comfort to those who visit them. They enhance quality of life by supporting mental well-being, fostering community pride, and creating welcoming and attractive public and private spaces.

In that spirit, 1040 University Drive (The Mann House) is proud to host Saskatoon’s first Tulip and Flower Festival from May 15, 2026 to September 15, 2026. Visitors will be able to enjoy approximately 250,000 flowering plants throughout the season. All citizens are warmly encouraged to come and experience the beauty as it unfolds.

This festival is designed to be community-driven. Residents of Saskatoon who have flower beds in their front yards are invited to participate by submitting:
• Photographs or diagrams of their gardens (from the 2025 season), and,
• A brief written request expressing their interest in being included.

There are no time constraints to Registration; but for 2026 there will be no registration fee.

Participation Criteria:
• At least 60% of the front yard must be dedicated to flowers.
• Gardens must be clearly and freely visible from the sidewalk.
• Backyard gardens are not eligible, as the festival is intended to be fully accessible to the public.

Together, we can create a celebration of flowers that enhances neighbourhood beauty, strengthens community spirit, and provides enjoyment for residents and visitors alike.
