Jane’s Walk – May 5-6, 2017
Every year on the first weekend in May cities across the world hold Jane’s Walks to encourage people to familiarize themselves with the places where they live work and play. This year we are keen to feature a diversity of neighbourhoods.
You don’t need to be an expert to create and lead a walk. A Jane’s Walk is a walking conversation where participants are encouraged to contribute to the discussion along the way. The walk can be a tour of something that makes your neighbourhood unique or it can be a study of an area that you are trying to change. It can focus on history, nature, community, play, religion, traffic, gardening, or anything else that you feel passionate about.
Check out janeswalk.org for more information about leading walks. If you have any questions please email janeswalksaskatoon@gmail.com and we would be delighted to help you develop your walk.
