City of Saskatoon Growth Plan

On April 18th, the Growth Plan to Half a Million will be brought to the City’s Governance and Priorities Committee for approval in principle. If approved by Committee, the Growth Plan will then go to City Council for final approval at their April 25th meeting. This represents the culmination of over two years of community input and technical work and it will set the stage for our city’s growth over the next 30 to 40 years!

If you’d like to provide comments to Committee, you can do this either by preparing a written submission or by requesting to speak through the Contact City Council form on the City’s website, www.saskatoon.ca/writetocouncil. Committee and Council meetings are also live-streamed and archived on the City’s website here: Watch Committee and Council

The agenda, including the final report for Governance and Priorities Committee is available here: Agenda

And finally, the Growth Plan Summary Report and more information is available on the project website at www.growingfwd.ca.

With this step, the development of the Growth Plan has wrapped up, but this just represents the start of the process! Your input will continue to play a key role as we move into implementing the key directions outlined in the Growth Plan, so stay tuned!
