The City of Saskatoon is inviting Saskatoon residents to learn more about the development of an All Ages & Abilities (AAA) Downtown Cycling Network. This network has been in development since fall 2017 when the Downtown Protected Bike Lane Demonstration concluded. AAA cycling facilities physically separate people riding bikes from drivers, thereby increasing the comfort and safety of all cyclists.
The network plan considers the following:
– Connection to Saskatoon’s wider cycling network;
– Integration with other key downtown projects such as Bus Rapid Transit and the re-opening of Traffic Bridge;
– Impacts to all users in the downtown in identifying the most appropriate streets to host AAA facilities.
Information about the AAA Downtown Cycling Network will be available as part of a larger forum on topics related to future growth: Plan for Growth Community Open House Wednesday, March 7, 2018 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Western Development Museum
