To add a little Block Party flavour, the Mayor and Cynthia will each make a potluck dish, and make a contactless delivery following the event. All you have to do is share one of your favourite recipes in the event comments to be eligible for the draw. Cut off time to submit is 7pm on June 4.

Liveable YXE will be hosting a mayoral forum at the Frances Morrison Library Theatre (311 23rd St E, Saskatoon). Prior to the forum, councillor candidates will be in attendance for one-on-one discussions with attendees. Come out and see what the candidates have to offer and become an informed voter.

Together with numerous partner organizations LiveableYXE have submitted a questionnaire to all 40 candidates in the civic election to turn their attention to issues in relation to equity/accessibility, urban planning/urbanism, environment, climate change, health, active transportation, public transportation, arts/culture, economy/finance, housing and food. They will be publishing their responses to this questionnaire on their website on October 5th.
The Nutana Community Association will be hosting a candidates’ forum on Thursday, October 13th, 7:00 pm in the gymnasium of Nutana Collegiate (corner of Victoria Avenue and 11th Street).
With 7 people declaring their intentions to run in Ward 6, it should be a very informative and interesting evening.
