Learn about safety and security issues with Saskatoon Fire Department and Saskatoon Police Service.

Free 8 week course for older adults 55+ to learn about home and personal security, fraud prevention, internet security, traffic safety, elder abuse, K-9 policing, emergency preparedness, fire safety, fall prevention and when to call 911 and report an emergency.

Date: Feb 12 to April 15, 2020
Time: 9:30 am to Noon
Location: Community Room of the Saskatoon Police Service (76 25th Street East) or the Community Room of Fire Station No. 3 (2613 Clarence Avenue South)

Research: Abuse of Older Adults

Under-reporting in Abuse of Older Adults in the Prairie Provinces

Are you an older adult who has experienced some kind of abuse – serious harm, disrespect or assault/abuse? We need your views and thoughts on this important issue.

Your participation will include an interview (about 1 hour long) answering questions on this topic.
