VVCA Residential Parking Program (RPP) ZoneThe City of Saskatoon is currently conducting a survey to determine if your block should be included in the current Varsity View RPP zone. If at least 70% of your block consent to the potential RPP Zone expansion, a parking review will be conducted along with a report being submitted for City Council’s consideration and approval. If accepted, the report would result in bylaw amendments as well as the following:• Parking signs will be installed displaying a time limit for on-street parking on your block. The signage would be similar to other posted signs throughout the RPP Zone.• Residents of your block will be required to purchase annual permits at City Hall to show that their vehicle(s) parked on-street are not subject to the parking time limit displayed on the signs.• A maximum of three residential permits and one visitor permit per household can be purchased each year. The cost of a residential parking permit is $25.00 + GST per year. The cost of a visitor parking permit is $5.00 + GST per year (if purchased in addition to a residential parking permit).Currently, petitions are being made to the following blocks in Varsity View (starred are confirmed as being in support of expansion, where 70% of residents and/or owners support expansion): *200 Block of Cumberland Avenue*300 Block of Cumberland Avenue*300 Block of McKinnon Avenue (east side)1000-1400 Block of 14th Street East (both sides) *1200 and 1300 Block (north side) confirmed *1000 Block (south side) confirmed The City of Saskatoon also has a petition of the 1200 block of 13th Street East that will be included in the next expansion of the Varsity View RPP zone.If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Parking Services at 306-975-2548 or parking.permits@saskatoon.ca.https://www.saskatoon.ca/moving-around/parking/parking-programs-permits/residential-parking-permits ...
