Family Day Skating Party

Bring the whole family for a holiday Monday full of skating, winter fun, and hot beverages! Don’t miss this chance to make the best of your Family Day. Join us at the Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink @Nutrien Plaza from 12-4 p.m.

From 2:00 – 4:00 pm
– Clarence Downey Speed Skating Oval, Dudley Street and Avenue R South (skating event will be cancelled if the temperature reaches -25 degrees C or below with the windchill)
– Cosmo Civic Centre, 3130 Laurier Drive

Due to the very warm weather the Cameco Family Day Skating Party has been changed to March 5, 2017

On SUNDAY MARCH 5, 2017 a free family skate day will be held at the Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink in Kiwanis Memorial Park. The event will run from Noon-4 pm. Remember your skates and safety gear!

Special guests: the Saskatoon Blades

– gloves (while supplies last)
– sleigh rides
– skating
– face painting and balloon animals
– Tim Hortons hot chocolate and cookies (while supplies last)

Learn to Skate Program

Learn To Skate Program
The City of Saskatoon Learn to Skate Program will be offered in 4 neighbourhoods this winter. The program is led by skating instructors. Participants must bring their own skates and CSA approved helmet.

Saturday and Sunday’s February 18 to March 19
