Your Seniors Neighbourhood Hub Clubs (SNHC). Now in 5 locations! 

Seniors Neighbourhood Hub Clubs are an age-friendly initiative of the Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA). The Hub Clubs promote social participation, a key aspect of an age-friendly city.

Come and learn about growing your own food without pesticides at this free, public event presented by Sandra Schweder, Urban Ag Coordinator at CHEP Good Food Inc, with support from the Steep Hill Food Co-operative and the Nutana Community Association Community Gardens. 
Join us in learning how to make the most of the space you have, including container and vertical gardening, and improving soil quality.

New! Swim & Play Day Camp 7-12 yrs.

A perfect 1-day camp for kids who like to have fun and keep active. Participants will spend the morning playing a variety of sports including soccer, Frisbee, tag and more. Bring your skates and safety gear and come down for an afternoon of skating and winter fun!
Stay warm inside the Cosmo gym with tipi teachings and indigenous hand games presented by the Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre.

Skating at the Speed Skating Oval will be cancelled if the temperature reaches -25 degrees C or below with windchill, or above -5 degrees C.

The Yorkton Film Festival and Grace-Westminster United Church are hosting a film night Monday, November 5 at 7:30. This Remembrance Week event will feature I AM WAR, a documentary about veterans of the Afghan war.

Our speaker, Retired Colonel Malcolm Young, will talk about the war and its impact on Canadian military personnel. Young completed three tours of duty in Afghanistan and acted as a political liaison with government officials.

Everyone is welcome. There is no charge for the event. Refreshments will be served.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is putting on a free, family friendly CPR and AED training event Sunday August 12, 2018, from 12 PM – 4 PM in Kiwanis Park North.

Community of Heroes is a free-to-the-public, family-friendly CPR and AED training event. Learn from certified Heart & Stroke resuscitation experts and local heroes from MD Ambulance, and then take your turn in a four-hour, non-stop CPR relay! The first 100 people trained will receive a free CPR Anytime for Family & Friends™ kit to take home (includes a practice mannequin and instructional DVD), courtesy of Scotiabank.
